I fancy myself a bicyclist, though I don\’t ride nearly enough to justify that. For instance, I didn\’t ride at all in 2005. But I\’m trying to be better this year, with a couple of rides on the Nashua River Rail Trail from Ayer to Dunstable Massachusetts, a ride last week on the Norwottock Rail Trail between Northampton and Belchertown Massachusetts. This weekend I\’m going out of state to the Ashuelot Rail Trail from Hinsdale to Keene New Hampshire. It\’s about 37 km or so, but I\’ll be able to find good beer at the Elm City Brewing Co.
Hi, John! Thank you for the kind link to my blog. I have trouble wrapping my brain around this disease with each passing day.
I kicked myself in the butt and got out on the Ayer Rail Trail on Saturday, imagining that it might be a long time before I’ll be able to get out for a ride on the bike again. I should have gone earlier, though! pthpt*plthpppp! Getting leetle evening bugs in my mouth as I buzz along the trail at dusk. The sunset was nice, though, and I saw one of our ubiquitous New England snakes snoozing in the middle of the trail.
Keep riding!
Best regards,
Philip.
